A school with history and passion for horses
Miguel Alves Horses is a riding school founded by Miguel Alves, an instructor certified by the Portuguese Equestrian Federation (FEP) since 1997. Located at the Centro Hípico da Quinta da Marinha in Cascais, the school welcomes riders of all levels — from first contact with horses to competition preparation.
With indoor and outdoor arenas and direct access to the Guincho dunes, we offer a unique equestrian experience in the Lisbon area. All lessons are conducted in Portuguese, English or French.

I just spent fantastic 3 days with Miguel Alves and his fabulous horses. We had 2 jumping lessons and did the trek in the dunes. The place is beautiful, the lessons are great, and the horses are gentle and gorgeous. I would recommend to everyone

Tall horse Twix with soft (long) steps, wonderful young english+spanish speaking guia- makes me dream of trotting + cantering one of Miguel's super fine horses. Great gear, amazing center with several riding outfitters+good lunch after the ride. Thanks to Francisca who rode with me on her 19th BDay! Thank you Miguel, an honor to get to ride your great horse!
