What We Offer Families
Trail rides together
Our guided trail rides are the most popular option for families. A group of up to 6 can ride together with an experienced guide who sets the pace for the least experienced rider.
Trail ride options:
- 30 min — €35/person. Ideal for young children or first-timers.
- 60 min — €60/person. Walk and trot through the Quinta da Marinha trails.
- 90 min — €80/person. Deeper into the natural park, with sea views.
All rides include a certified helmet. No experience needed.
Riding lessons for children
Children from age 5 can start riding lessons at the school. Our junior programme covers:
- Balance and posture
- Basic communication with the horse
- Walk, trot and eventually canter
- Horse care and grooming (understanding the animal, not just riding it)
Groups have a maximum of 4 children to ensure personal attention from the instructor.
Adult lessons alongside the kids
While children are in their lesson, parents can take their own session simultaneously. Many families make it a weekly habit — each person progresses at their own pace, then shares the experience.

Getting There from Lisbon or Cascais
By car from Lisbon: A5 motorway, exit at end, follow Birre signs. Approximately 30 minutes. Free parking at the school.
From Cascais town centre: 10-minute taxi or Uber.
By train + taxi: Lisbon–Cascais line (Linha de Cascais) to Cascais station, then taxi/Uber (~10 min).
